April,2001...Phillipines...onboard MT Waneta...anchorage...130am in the night...sudden phone call in my cabin...an alarm and order not to open the door or come out of the cabin...pirates all over the ship...ropes all around the ship...armed men/women in small boats, climbing the ship with huge plastic bags on their back...almost everything from cutlery to food items to linen to loose machineries looted...2 hours of rampage...silence...no one dared to come out till the Captain asked us to...and all of this came up in my memory as reel became real...or vice versa! :)
